First we'll get together for a pre-production interview, get to know you better, and discuss the scope of your project and the amount of original and source material you'd like to include in your video. You may decide to use only old photographs and restored super 8mm movies, with an audio voiceover track, for example. Or you may want us to videotape an interview with you or your loved one(s). Every video is custom designed and edited to fit your sensitivities and expectations.

We will then proceed with scheduling a time to digitally master your photos and to conduct and record your interview. If you wish, we can come to your home and scan the photographs you select for your documentary so that they never have to leave your sight. Digital restoration of old photographs is available also. Video transfer of old super 8mm films is done by a third party, which we supervise.

Once all of the source material is gathered together, we edit your documentary video to standard resolution digital video, adding music and graphics, and master it to a digital file. You receive a handsomely packaged DVD as well as a digital archive of the master program for long term storage.

Your video will look like the kind of television documentary you would expect to see about any famous or historic person, except you and/or your loved ones will be the stars. Rosemary documentaries, life stories, and video biographies are produced by director, filmmaker, and visual media artist Steve Walker.

Here's a sample of a short movie which was made as a video "scrapbook" to preserve the memory of someone's home before they moved to a new location.
